There exists seed-to-seed\nvariability in the base seed water potential. Hence, there is a\nneed for a distribution such that a viable seed with its base\nseed water potential germinates if and only if the soil water\npotential is more than the base seed water potential. This\npackage estimates the stress tolerance and uniformity\nparameters of the seed lot for germination under various\ntemperatures by using the hydro-time model of counts of\ngerminated seeds under various water potentials. The\ndistribution of base seed water potential has been considered\nto follow Normal, Logistic and Extreme value distribution. The\nestimated proportion of germinated seeds along with the\nestimates of stress and uniformity parameters are obtained\nusing a generalised linear model. The significance test of the\nabove parameters for within and between temperatures is also\nperformed in the analysis.
